Responsibilities

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Commercialisation) is responsible for:

  • managing the staff, resources and activities of the Division’s Offices
  • leading the University’s research and commercialisation agendas
  • providing leadership to the University’s four flagship Research Institutes
  • sponsorship of the University’s top-level Research and Innovation Plan pdf
  • coordination of the University's Research and External Services Program and
  • managing the Division's budget and sponsoring the cross-divisional IT support functions with the Division of International and Development.

Location

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor is located on Level 3 of O Block Podium on the Gardens Point (city) campus.

From time to time, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor disseminates papers of interest to the wider QUT community.
